🧾 MONOSTAGE Terms of Use

• Users retain copyright and ownership of all content they create.
• By submitting content, you grant MONOSTAGE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and perpetual license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and publicly display such content for service operation, community integrity, research, and promotional purposes.
• When an account is deleted, the author's name is replaced with "Deleted user." The content may remain visible to preserve discussion integrity and the historical record of the community.
• All personally identifiable information is removed or anonymized; such content is no longer linked to the former member's identity.
• You may request removal of specific content containing personal information, which will be reviewed and processed under applicable laws.

• All user data is stored on Supabase servers located in the United States. Supabase acts as a data processor under MONOSTAGE's control.
• Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Certain identifiers such as email addresses are encrypted with the AES-256 standard before being stored in Supabase. MONOSTAGE manages encryption keys securely and never stores them together with encrypted data.
• When a user deletes an account, encryption keys linked to that user's data are destroyed, rendering the encrypted information irrecoverable.
• Public posts and comments are not end-to-end encrypted because they are intended for open discussion.
• Residual data in system backups may be retained for up to 90 days solely for disaster-recovery and legal compliance before automatic deletion.
• By using MONOSTAGE, you consent to these data-handling practices in accordance with Korean PIPA and applicable foreign laws.

Users must not:

• Post illegal, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or violent content.
• Impersonate others or spread false information.
• Use bots or automated scripts to scrape or manipulate the platform.
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt our APIs or servers.

Violations may result in suspension or termination without notice.

• You must accurately provide your age or age group during sign-up.
• MONOSTAGE may verify this information to ensure compliance with applicable child protection laws.
• Users under 14 may only register with verified parental or guardian consent, and any false declaration of age may result in account removal.
• Under-14 users require verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• We may remove accounts that violate this policy.

• MONOSTAGE is provided "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy or availability of user-generated content.
• We are not liable for damages beyond our reasonable control, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

• We may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Users may appeal decisions via contact@monostage.com.
• Data from terminated accounts is processed per our Privacy Policy (anonymization or deletion where required).

• We may update or discontinue features for improvement or legal compliance.
• If the service is terminated, users will receive advance notice and data-export options.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
• Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
• For users outside Korea, local consumer and data-protection laws may apply where non-conflicting.

We may update these Terms periodically and announce changes at least seven (7) days in advance.

Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.
